Game change format

Please submit game schedule changes/cancellations in the following format to shcyosoftball@gmail.com prior to game day. Submit via text to your coordinator on game day.

Action/Reason followed by: Date/Division/Field Location/Game Time/Home Team

For Example: Cancel due to rain: 4/1, 12U Liberty at CYO3 at 6pm, SH Angels

Follow up with reschedule or add game information in same format:

For Example: Reschedule to: 4/8, 12U Liberty at CYO3 at 6pm, SH Angels

 

PAYING TEAM REGISTRATION FEES

$180 Spring team registration fee or $130 Fall team registration fee can either be mailed to: PO Box 324, Maple Shade, NJ 08052

Umpire showed/Game not played submission

In the event of an umpire arrival for a cancelled game, the home team must fill this out and email to the President (shcyosoftball@gmail.com) within 48 hours or they will be charged with the full cancellation:

Any action to be taken: (umpire paid, fee should be split, fee should be paid by visiting team, umpire should not be paid)

 

 

Important Information

Prior to the season: It is your job to confirm your schedule that is on our website. If you see a mistake, point it out. I suggest doing this at the beginning of every week as well. If there is a mistake there, the umpire will not arrive. The home team will have to pay $80 to compensate an umpire that is sent to the wrong time or location.

How to report a cancellation: Send me the game being cancelled in the below format. CC the opposing coach. If it is a day of change, a text must be sent in proper format to your division coordinator.

 Umpire payment guidelines for changes:

  • Cancel via proper channels results in no payment.
  • Cancel within two hours of game time without advance warning at prior to two hours: $25 travel charge.
  • Cancel within arrival of umpire and/or within ten minutes to game start: $80 game fee ($60 for 8U.)
